The theme for Global Game Jam 2024 was “Make Me Laugh".
“Slap Dash" is a fast-paced and engaging card game designed for 3-8 players.
The game centers around a sequence ‘frizzy frog flip flop frenzy’ and that
players must match this with the cards in their decks. The goal is to be the first
player to run out of cards, but careful attention, quick thinking, and a touch of
chaos make each round unpredictable and entertaining.

Development
As the theme was make me laugh we thought tongue twisters are a good way of making people laugh and thats how we came up with the phrase
“FRIZZY,FROG,FLIP, FLOP, FRENZY”
1) Gather your froggy fam (3-8 players) and grab a deck of Slap Dash".
Shuffle 'em like crazy and deal 'em out face down.
Start with saying the word frizzy and shed a card Play proceeds clockwise.
2) On your turn, flip the top card and shout the next word in the sequence (Frizzy Frog-Flip-Flop-Frenzy. Flip, shout, and Slap the discard pile like a lightning bolt if your word matches your card.
Be quick! The last player to slap the pile after a matching word has to take the entire discard pile back!
3) The player who holds the most cards in the end loses, so shedding those flippers is key.
Mess up or hesitate? Oops! You gotta take the whole discard pile back to your deck. Don't peek at your cards, keep the pace going, and avoid flinching before a slap that counts as one too!
4) Keep flipping shouting, and slapping until one unlucky frog couldn't sheds all their cards They're the losers of the swamp!
Now In case of last two players standing, determine the loser through Last and Final Round
Trump Cards:
Fate Swap: Change the deck with any one player you wish to and whenever this card is drawn, the whole pile is discarded.
Switcharoo: Reverse the provided phrase for rest of the game.
Smash pile : Smash the pile of drawn cards when smash pile card is drawn.
Customisable card: Let your imagination run free and make your own trump card or Choose any one from existing trump cards and customise.
